The Love for the Oldies :)

Yesterday we went to the library together. We had a goal to get some good easy listenin to music. The first CD on our check list...Jackson 5, but don't worry we got that and more!

*2 Jackson 5 CDs
*1 Elvis CD with his 50 greatest love songs ;)
*The Cowsills
*The Osmond Family Christmas songs (for mom)
*The colpix-dimenson, has some classics, but mainly we got it for moondoggie AKA James Darren AKA Hottie off of Gidget!
* Some random I Am CD, that we thought had to be good (which was immediately ejected).

We got up to the front desk, expecting to pay a dollar each..... nope, they were all free!

We went home to enjoy. Listened to all the CDs.

Our parents decided to join us..... reliving their past :) Lets just say today was a good day!

Mom just singin away!

Oh The Horror...

Let me ask you a question what do you see in this man?

I see love, compassion for Gods children and most of all the Spirit!

Satan is a sneaky fellow, and oh how it is so easy to have him creep into our lives. Putting us in the dark with little light. Facing this evil is when we need to remember that we are Gods children. We can do anything with faith and the power of the priesthood.

"It absolutely terrifies me that people really believe this... "Why would anyone EVER "choose" to be gay, or be a minority for that matter? Boyd K. Packer is going to have a great deal of blood on his hands... after all of the recent suicides... among gay teens, you would think certain political/religious figures would recognize this is not a decision, and these individuals are living life the only way they know how to. How dare you instill inadequacy within these insecure individuals minds. The only thing this demonstrates to me is bigotry, and intolerance... but, "That is what Jesus would do," right?"

Its funny how someone can believe in something so much that they would be willing to leave the spirit in the dust, hurting family along the way. This statements truly hurts me from the inside out. In so many ways this statement is so very wrong. Like I said before with faith and the power of the priesthood we can do anything, or for that matter be anything. Being gay is a choice you may have those tendencies, yes, but its your chose to ignore them or not.
I was told awhile ago about a man that was fully gay, but with faith and a worthy priesthood holder, he is now married to a woman he loves, and with children that he adores. We may not choose our trials but it is our choice to overcome them.
We all have our agency and we all choose to use it. It is not Elder Packer that will have the blood on his hands he did not make them commit suicide they had a choice. Elder Packer stated what we know is true, he is a man of God. So do not, do not blame him! Just because he had the guts to say it, and as for "What would Jesus do?" Do you remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah?I do.

"And the blood of the people that have committed suicide will not only be on Boyd's hands, but on the hands of everyone who agrees with him. As far as I am concerned, they are not committing suicide, these young people are being murdered."

Please when your disrespecting my church, have the decency to respect a man of God, and that is to call him by his rightful status Elder Boyd K. Packer. As far as I'm concerned I am not murdering anyone, and its a bit interesting that this person is placing blame.

I've been taught that when the end is near families would be torn apart, I have experienced this first hand, and hope to never experience it again, but when that day comes how great my joy will be, to see my savior, to touch his hands and feet that were pierced for me. Are you afraid of that glorious day? because I'm not, and if you are you need to fix up your life. The Church of Jesus Christ is the only true church, it is gods church, I am his daughter, and oh the horror that fills my heart when some people out there defile something that I love.

A Saturday Well Spent :)

Oh how we love that spiritual high you get while watching General Conference, oh how we love our prophet Thomas S. Monson and his apostles; they are inspired men, and most of all oh how we love the true church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. We are some lucky girls, with strong testimonies.

Dad started laughing in the middle of conference so we had to look over to see what he was looking at. There was Poshca, haha, she is one crazy sleeper

After the excellent sessions of General Conference on Saturday. We quickly got to work on our donuts for our traditional girls night :) While we were waiting for the donuts to rise we went shopping for halloween with Jennifer. Oh how we love her. We got some AMAZING ideas! That we'll have to blog about later.

After we got a phone call from mother we had to stop shopping and get home to our exploding donuts. We quickly finished, and the girls arrived!

We did Glitter toes....

Watched this fine movie...After talking for an hour and 30 minutes which at this point the boys were almost home :)

And ate some delicious donuts with Ice Cream.

All in all it was a success! Oh how we love our mother and our sisters!

A special shout out to those that couldn't make it.....Katrina, Chrissy, Lisa, Sierra, Michelle, Grace, Emma, and Karalee we all missed you!
