USPS

There may be a slightly cute mail man...or more than slightly, that comes into work everyday to drop off the bosses bills. Yesterday I got the guts to say something, usually our exchanges are making quick eye contact and smiling with maybe a hi inserted. Kim's been brave, she was brave again. 

Postal Carrier: "It smells good in here." 

Kim: "I would offer you something but we don't have anything good"

Madre: "My bread is good"

Me: "You want some?"

Postal: "I'd love some"

I begin grabbing the warm bread, because warm bread is always better that cool bread. My mom turned and said she wanted the other stuff gone before I started cutting a knew one. 

"Mom it's not warm."

"It doesn't matter he's been out in the heat all day, he wants something cool." 

Oh how she kills me. Typical. It was the butt of the bread loaf. I tried to cut the end off as good as I could, buttered it and handed it to him. 

Me: "We're always feeding the UPS man, you might as well join him."

Postal: "I wish I would have known"

When he left I informed my boss that he had to get a date for me with the mailman. "Isn't he...old?" He was creeped out, our other mailman is like 70. I explained, then he ran for the door to stop him. I started freaking out yelling no. I was just kidding but not really. He kept yelling back "I'm just gonna ask if he's married." I thought I was going to have a heart attack, when he finally came back laughing. Thats when my bro showed up, saying he'll take care of it. Oh jeez. He goes out the door. I was dying. It was just too much to handle. The mailman drove away just in time. I was safe. 

Until today. He came in and I had the day off. 

My brother spilled the beans, but thats a story for another post.

I bought some lip stain today, I was curious. Guess we'll see if it was worth it.

I know I forgot about thrifty tuesday, next week, I promise.
